And so here I am … about to scale a seemingly insurmountable mountain. Well, not literally anyway. I have not blogged for years and my last lame attempt to restart or reignite my passion for writing fell on the wayside with nary a whimper of protest. I can’t be sure why I couldn’t find my footing to navigate the blogosphere again. It seemed that words tended to escape me whenever I try to impart my thoughts, feelings and experiences. Or maybe, my life’s realities were just so markedly complex to describe in letters and punctuation marks, at least for me. There are a number of reasons why I have been absent but inevitably, my unwillingness to be painfully open to the universe was what was keeping me from sharing those “random snapshots from a moving train”.
These past three years have brought on a lot of changes, some were pleasant but mostly, unwelcomed. But lately, the choices I made brought upon changes that will truly set me forth on my biggest adventure ever: living the most authentic life I could ever have and deserve. So, it is with determination that I am pounding these keys again so I can chronicle the journey and hopefully, it will bear witness to the fulfillment of the vows I’ve made to myself at the beginning of this year.
2012 is gonna be MY year! This is gonna be MY time that I get to have MY “happy” back. At the risk of sounding selfish and narcissistic, I do indeed intend to focus on ME. No matter how long or quickly it will take me to achieve my mission, I shall be a happier and content person at the end of this quest. So for those who are along with me for the ride, I hope it will inspire you to do the same. It will be my honor to celebrate life with you all. And the train shall keep on chugging along …
